Terms of Service
Last updated 2 September 2026
Plain version: run your shop, pay your monthly plan, don't print anything illegal, and we'll keep the service up. The exact wording is below.
These Terms are between you (the print shop or the person opening the account, “you”) and [PrintSets legal entity name], [address] (“PrintSets”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use PrintSets.
What PrintSets is
a queue for your counter — not the person taking the money
PrintSets is software. Your customers scan a QR code at your counter, upload a PDF, choose print options and see a price. You take payment your own way (UPI or cash) and mark the order paid; a desktop app on your shop PC then prints it and reports status back.
PrintSets does not handle the money for a print order, does not sell printing to your customers, and is not a party to any transaction between you and a customer. You are the merchant for every print job done at your shop.
Your account
one per shop, and you're responsible for what happens under it
- You must give accurate details and keep your login and device keys secret. Anything done through your account is your responsibility.
- You’re responsible for your staff’s use of the account and for the PCs you connect.
- You must be legally able to enter this agreement and run a business in your location.
- Tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused.
Plans, the free trial and billing
20 days free, then a monthly plan on UPI AutoPay via Razorpay; cancel anytime, it runs to the end of the period
- Free trial. New shops get 20 days free with full features and no card. If you don’t choose a plan before it ends, the shop stops taking new orders until you do; your data stays.
- Plans. Counter and Campus, at the prices shown on the pricing page (currently a launch price). Plans are billed monthly in Indian Rupees.
- Payments. Recurring charges are collected by our payment provider, Razorpay, as a UPI AutoPay (or card) mandate you approve. We never see or store your full card or bank details.
- Renewal. Plans renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- Failed payments. If a charge fails, Razorpay retries it. While it’s retrying your shop keeps working until the end of the paid period. If every retry fails the subscription halts and the shop stops taking new orders.
- Cancelling. You can cancel from the dashboard at any time. The plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. We don’t refund partial months unless the law requires it.
- Price changes. We may change plan prices with at least [30] days’ notice by email or in the dashboard. The new price applies from your next renewal; you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Taxes. Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated; you’re responsible for any that apply to you.
Acceptable use
don't print illegal stuff, don't attack the service, don't resell it
You agree not to use PrintSets to:
- print, store or transmit anything unlawful, infringing, or that you don’t have the right to reproduce;
- break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits or security;
- resell, sublicense or run PrintSets as a service for shops that aren’t yours without our written agreement;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your shop;
- use it in a way that breaks any law that applies to you.
You decide what gets printed at your counter and are responsible for it. If a customer hands you infringing or illegal content, that’s between you and them — but we can suspend an account being used for clearly unlawful activity.
Customer files
the file passes through, gets printed once, and is deleted
A customer’s PDF is uploaded to our storage, pulled once by your shop PC, printed, and then deleted. Unpaid or abandoned orders expire on their own. We don’t keep the file after the job finishes. See the Privacy Policy for detail. For that data you are the controller and PrintSets is your processor.
Availability and support
"as is" — we try hard, but we can’t promise a printer never jams
We aim to keep the service available and to fix problems quickly, but we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. PrintSets is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind except those that can’t be excluded by law.
“Printed” means the job left the Windows print spooler. What a given printer can actually report about jams, paper-out or ink is up to that printer — PrintSets can’t guarantee a physical page came out.
Liability
capped at what you paid us in the last 3 months; no indirect losses
To the extent the law allows, PrintSets is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profit, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the [3] months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law (for example, for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
Suspension and termination
we can pause an account for non-payment or abuse; you can leave and take your data
- We may suspend or end your access if your plan is unpaid after the retry window, if you break these Terms, or if we’re required to by law.
- You can stop using PrintSets and delete your account at any time from the dashboard.
- On termination we’ll give you a reasonable window to export your order history, then delete your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects you we’ll give notice by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use PrintSets after that means you accept the new Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [city] have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Email [legal@printsets.in] and a person will get back to you.
